Real homes across Greater Sydney — what the space needed, what we recommended, and how it turned out.

Zip Screens

Longueville Waterfront Home

This waterfront home in Longueville needed shade, UV protection and better heat control — without losing the view.

With stronger winds near the water, the solution also had to be stable and secure.

We recommended Zip Screens, giving the homeowners protection when they need it and the flexibility to open the space back up whenever they want.

The final result was a great balance of comfort, protection and uninterrupted views.

Textured Sheer Curtains + Automated Track

Strathfield Residence

This Strathfield home features grand floor-to-ceiling windows and a luxurious interior finished with a statement crystal chandelier.

The homeowners wanted curtains that would complement the scale and elegance of the space, rather than feel too simple or lightweight.

We recommended a textured sheer curtain that adds softness and movement while still matching the home’s refined, luxurious style. To make the large windows easier to use, the curtains were also paired with an automated opening and closing system.

The final result feels elegant, balanced and beautifully integrated with the interior — adding both practicality and a softer finishing touch to the space.

Zip Screens

Padstow Home

This Padstow home needed more shade, UV protection and better heat control — without permanently closing in the outdoor area.

We recommended Zip Screens, giving the homeowners the flexibility to lower them when needed and retract them to keep the space open.

The result is a more comfortable and usable outdoor area throughout the day.

Retractable Flyscreen

Lindfield Home

This house in Lindfield has an extra-large sliding glass door, so the flyscreen needed to stay almost invisible when not in use.

When opened, the screen retracts neatly into the side cassettes. When closed, the mesh stays flat with no metal crossbars, so the view remains clear.

With top and bottom tracks holding the mesh securely in place, the system also provides better wind resistance while keeping insects out.

A clean, durable solution for a large opening without compromising the view.

Operable Pergola + Zip Screens

Eastern Suburbs Home

For this house in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, a fixed pergola wasn’t the right option, so we created a more flexible outdoor solution using an operable aluminium pergola combined with Zip Screens on three sides.

The result is an outdoor space that can be opened up when the weather is good, or enclosed when more protection is needed.

With the LED lighting on and the Zip Screens lowered, the area becomes a comfortable sheltered space with added protection from sun, wind and insects — while still allowing the homeowners to enjoy fresh air and stay connected to the surrounding views.

The space is also versatile enough for entertaining, relaxing, or even watching a projector outdoors.

Privacy fabric was selected for the Zip Screens to provide greater privacy from outside while keeping the space feeling open and comfortable.

Overall, the combination of the operable pergola and Zip Screens created a flexible outdoor living area that can adapt to different weather conditions and different ways of using the space.

Blockout Blinds + Side Channels

Bedroom Blockout Blinds

A darker bedroom makes a real difference to how a space feels at night.

Our custom blockout blinds are designed to reduce unwanted light and create a darker, more comfortable sleep environment — a practical solution for bedrooms where street lights, early morning sun or outside light make it harder to fully switch off.

Side channels close the light off at the edges too, so the room actually goes dark rather than just dim.

Zip Screens

Rydalmere Duplex

Our client had just moved into a new duplex in Rydalmere. With a north-facing backyard, the outdoor area gets plenty of sun throughout the day — but that also meant it became too hot and exposed to use comfortably for long periods.

They wanted a flexible solution rather than a permanently enclosed space: something they could lower when they needed more shade and protection, then open up again when they wanted a more open outdoor feel.

For this project, we installed Zip Screens. When lowered, the screens help create a more sheltered and comfortable outdoor area by reducing direct sun and providing some protection from the wind, while still allowing airflow and maintaining a sense of openness.

The result is a more practical and flexible outdoor space that can be enjoyed more comfortably throughout the day.

Zip Screens

West-Facing Room

Strong sunshine can make a west-facing room uncomfortable very quickly.

For this project, Zip Screens provided a flexible way to add shade when it was needed, without permanently closing off the space.

Lower the screens during the hottest part of the day, then open them back up when you want more light and a more open feel.

A simple way to make a sun-exposed room more comfortable and easier to use.
